Guro collects only the information needed to provide teacher productivity features: account email, teacher preferences, class records, student names added by teachers, AI generation inputs, export logs, and billing status when subscriptions are enabled. Guro uses this data to operate the service, secure accounts, improve workflows, provide exports, and support teachers. Student data should be limited to what is necessary for class records. Teachers remain responsible for securing consent required by their school policies and applicable law. AI generation inputs may be processed by configured AI providers to create lesson plans, quizzes, DLL drafts, rubrics, and comments. Guro is not an official government platform and does not sell student records.
